Publish Your Deliverables List
Every client wants to know exactly what lands in their inbox at the end. Very few studios say.
We put our full file list on the website two years ago. It is now the second most-visited page on the site, which tells you something about what clients actually want to read.
The Question Behind the Question
“What do we get?” is really “will I be able to use this without you?”. A client who has been burned before is asking whether they will discover in eighteen months that they need to come back for a single EPS.
What Belongs on the List
Every file, its format, and a note where the format needs explaining. Positive and reversed logo versions. Web exports at multiple densities. Colour reference with tolerances. Fonts and, crucially, whose name the licence is in.
The Licence Question Is the Sharp One
Fonts licensed in the studio’s name and used on a client’s artwork are a problem waiting to surface. We buy licences in the client’s name and say so on the deliverables page, because it is the single most common thing that goes wrong quietly.
What Publishing It Does to You
It stops you scoping loosely. Once the list is public you cannot quietly leave out the working files, and you have to decide in advance whether handover includes a session or just a zip.
